Life is a journey of lessons, here are 10 lessons that I have learned!

Lesson One of Ten:

There were 12 days I had TOTAL FOCUS and CLARITY over the past 18 months.

It was the 12 days I sat with my wife during her chemo treatments.

We’re blessed and she’s in remission AND we’re celebrating our 42nd anniversary this week. However, always remember:

When Death Becomes Certain, Life Becomes Rich!

Start Living and Leading a Rich and Intentional Life TODAY!

Lesson Two of Ten:

If You Want to REALLY GROW….Invest in YOU and your business

I would be a hypocrite if I asked my clients to invest in coaching/consulting yet didn’t invest in my business (and Personally). Surround yourself with the BEST and GREAT things happen!

A sincere THANKS to:

Mitch Matthews, Nathan Pearson, Rex Miller, Tarver Lowe, Becky Henderson

Lesson Three of Ten:

Productivity starts with being SELFISH with your Time and Calendar!

The First hour and a half each morning is time spent on Mind, Body, and Soul. It’s my way of being selfish in order to be a Servant Leader the rest of the day.

Monday through Wednesday are VERY guarded and reserved for Clients, Planning, and working with my Team.

Thursday’s are set aside for non-critical meetings.

Fridays are for Relationships, Reading, and Big Picture Planning

If You Don’t Control Your Calendar, Everyone Else Will!

Lesson Four of Ten:

I’m blessed to have coffee at 6 a.m. every Wednesday morning with 3 GREAT MEN!

We discuss our Faith, Relationships, and Career holding one another accountable.

Sometimes the truth is brutal…But always out of Love and Respect.

What’s really awesome is our ages ranges from the 30’s, 40’s, 50’s, and 60’s. What a blessing to discuss challenges and blessings in each season of life!

Thanks, Fred, Jack, and Taylor!

Lesson Five of Ten:

I’ve had many titles in my life but:

My Greatest Title is “GrandStan” and my wife’s is “GiGi” (Grandma Gibson)

Every Season of Life is the BEST!!!

Lesson Six of Ten:

While I left my job 36 months ago, I created StanGibsonSpeaks many years ago.

  • Wrote a Book 4 years ago

  • Created a Website 6 years ago

  • Researched, did Keynote speeches, and coached clients in my spare time starting 10 years ago

While I’m glad I took the time to prepare, I wish I had taken the risk earlier!

Always be Intentional! Have Purpose, Have Passion, Have a Plan!

Lesson Seven of Ten:

I’ve learned that 20% of you will really like my post; 50% will say Meh; and 20% will choose to not follow me.

There’s no need to look for 100% approval.

If I can make a difference in 20% of my followers, I’ve lived a Life that is RICH and Intentional

Lesson Eight of Ten:

Being “nice” can waste time

The Better Route is to Be Kind, Shoot Straight, Be Respectful, and Speak with Truth and Love!

Lesson Nine of Ten:

Never blame others for your problems! Be an Owner…Not a Victim

YOU CONTROL YOU! Make a decision and say “I AM COMMITTING TO……..

Lesson Ten of Ten:

I Learned it’s Better to be ME Than Trying To Be Someone Else

Sometimes being authentic meant praying with a client or business partner.

Sometimes my passion included salty language…Be YOU! Be Authentic!!
